Retrospektive "The Very Best Of The Everly Brothers" erscheint am 21.03.

Wie groß der Einfluss von The Everly Brothers auf Generationen von Musikern war und ist, wurde zuletzt Anfang des Jahres deutlich, als Phil Everly im Alter von 74 Jahren starb und unzählige große Künstler auf der ganzen Welt ihren Tribut zollten. Kurz zuvor hatten zudem Billie Joe Armstrong und Norah Jones der Band mit ihrem viel beachteten Album "Foreverly" ein Denkmal gesetzt.

Das Album "The Very Best Of The Every Brothers" vereint nun noch einmal einige der größten Hits des 1957 formierten Brüder-Duos, das mit seinem von Country und Rock ’n’Roll beeinflusstem Harmoniegesang zeitlose Hits wie "Bye Bye Love", "Wake Up little Susie" , "Love Hurts" und "Cathy’s Clown" ablieferte und 1986 in die Rock and Roll Hall of Fame aufgenommen wurde, gefolgt von der Aufnahme in die Country Music Hall of Fame 2011.
