"I am thrilled and honored to once again be recognized with an Echo Award.  To me, the community of listeners that are represented through this award is a highly discerning group. Critically speaking, a tough crowd – in the best sense of the phrase.

It is always gratifying to be noted for one’s efforts, but particularly so when there is the kind of serious consideration at work that is noted by the level of musicianship represented throughout the nominees here, not just this year, but over the history of this award.

Thank you for thinking of me and for giving me the opportunity to play and develop as a musician over these many years of absolutely great experiences performing in Germany.  This award is especially appreciated."
