Für eine Handvoll glücklicher Musiker ist heute schon Weihnachten, denn die Nominierten für die GRAMMY Awards 2017 sind bekannt gegeben worden.

Auch eine ganze Reihe von Warner-Künstlern kann sich freuen, beim weltweit wichtigsten Musikpreis berücksichtigt worden zu sein, darunter in den Königskategorien "Album Of The Year" (Sturgill Simpson, außerdem nominiert für "Best Country Album") und "Record Of The Year" (Twenty One Pilots, die außerdem in gleich vier weiteren Kategorien ins Rennen gehen, "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance", "Best Rock Performance", "Best Rock Song" und "Best Song Written For Visual Media").

Nominiert sind von Warner Music außerdem außerdem je zweimal Gojira, Rhiannon Giddens und Brad Mehldau, weiterhin je einmal Coldplay, Enya, Panic! At The Disco, Disturbed, Skrillex, Weezer, Korn, Highly Suspect, Josh Groban, Jill Scott, D.R.A.M., PartyNextDoor, Gallant, Joshua Redman, Riton und die Soundtracks "Suicide Squad" und "The Revenant". Glückwunsch an alle Nominierten!
