Live-Album & Doku "Beyond the Flames: Home Video Part II" erscheint am 02.12.
In knapp einem Monat, am 25. November, findet in der Black Friday des Record Store Days statt – und auch Killswitch Engage sind einmal mehr mit von der Partie. Die Band aus Massachusetts veröffentlicht "Beyond the Flames: Home Video Part II", das auf zwei Discs (Blu-ray & CD) über dreieinhalb Stunden KsE-Material enthält. Unten seht ihr einen Trailer.
Achtung: Der Release erscheint am 25.11. nur zum Black Friday in den USA und Kanada. Bei uns ist er am 02.12. regulär im Handel erhältlich.
Im Zentrum der Veröffentlichung steht eine 75-minütige Dokumentation, die die Rückkehr von Sänger Jesse Leach in die Band nach fast einem Jahrzehnt begleitet. Die Doku wirft auch einen Blick auf die frühen Jahre von Killswitch Engage, die zu Leachs Weggang von der Band führten und setzt dort an, wo 2005 die Veröffentlichung "{Set This} World Ablaze" aufhörte. Produzent und Regisseur des Films ist KsE-Chronist Denise Korycki.
"We are pleased to show people the journey we have been on as a band", kommentiert Leach. "From the first show to even the last one we played recently, I know I have much more to learn and to offer as a musician and a lyricist. I am proud of all we have done since my first day returning to this band. However, I am certain we have just started to gain momentum and find our groove together. We are honored to be in and dedicated to this band and wherever the future takes us. I hope people can see us for who we really are. We are just five guys who love to make music and love our fans."
Dazu hält "Beyond the Flames: Home Video Part II" 17 Live-Performances von Killswitch Engage bereit, darunter Leachs erste Show nach seiner Rückkehr in die Band. Außerdem kann man sich auf Musikvideos, individuelle Profile der Bandmitglieder, Outtakes sowie eines Bonus-Audio-Disc freuen, die sechs bisher unveröffentlichte Live-Tracks von der "Monster Mosh"-Show in Worcester, Massachusetts 2014 enthält.
