Am Freitag erscheint die Single "Slow (ft. Noah Cyrus)", bald das neue Album "One In A Million"

Mit seinen Songs wie "Old Thing Back", "False Alarm", "Running Out" oder zuletzt "All Night" feierte Matoma seit 2015 große Erfolge und prägte das neue Genre "Tropical House" maßgeblich mit, nun hat der 26-jährige Norweger ein neues Album am Horizont: "One In A Million" wird es heißen, am 9. März 2018 erscheinen – und bereits am Freitag ist die erste Single daraus zu erwarten: Sie trägt den Titel "Slow" und hat einmal mehr einen hochkarätigen Gast an Bord: Noah Cyrus. Man darf gespannt sein! 

Gegenüber Billboard kommentiert die US-Sängerin: "Ich habe mich so gefreut, 'Slow' mit Matoma zu machen. Der Song ist textlich so wunderschön und die Produktion erweckt alles zum Leben." Unten lest ihr ein Statement von Matoma, in dem er die aufregenden letzten Jahre Revue passieren lässt und ankündigt: "Jetzt ist es an der Zeit, ein paar Gänge hochzuschalten und es aufs nächste Level zu heben." Hinsichtlich des Albumtitels sagt der DJ / Producer: "Jede einzelne Person im Publikum ist besonders, wir alle haben ein Herz, eine Seele, Leidenschaft und Träume. Darum dreht sich das Album."

 

In the past few years since I have been making music I have been so lucky to have travelled the world, worked with some incredible artists and met you guys my amazing followers, supporters and fans. For me this is a one in a million opportunity and I say it every day - without you guys there would be no Matoma. Every single person in the crowd is special, we all have hearts, soul, passion and dreams. That is what this album is about. I have worked on this for so long and I'm beyond excited to finally start sharing it with you. I wanted to share the album with my fans first, playing all the new music at shows on this tour and then releasing it on the day of my last show in Trondheim, in the same venue where I played my first ever DJ set and the city I have lived in the last 6 years. I'm putting my heart into this, all the new music, a whole new live production, some amazing new support artists. I’m bringing you something I feel is special and represent me and my musical vision in a different and exciting form than before. The Hakuna Matoma campaign has been amazing filled with memories, joy, happiness and experience, but now it’s time to kick it up a few notch and take it to the next level.
