MTV VMA 2018: Gewinner, Live-Auftritte, Reaktionen
Cardi B mit neuer Kurzhaarfrisur, Madonna mit einem Tribut an Aretha Franklin sowie jede Menge spektakuläre Auftritte und glückliche Gewinner – das waren die MTV Video Music Awards 2018, die gestern Abend in der Radio Music Hall in New York City vergeben und ab 2 Uhr (Red Carpet Show) bzw. 3 Uhr unserer Zeit (Award Show) weltweit live übertragen wurden.
Aus Sicht von Warner Music konnten sich Cardi B ("Best New Artist", "Song of Summer" für "I Like It"), Hayley Kiyoko ("Push Artist of the Year"), Rita Ora (featured artist in "Best Dance", "Lonely Together" von Avicii) und Young Thug (featured artist in "Video of the Year", "Havana" von Camila Cabello) über Preise freuen, Live-Auftritte gab es von Panic! At The Disco ("High Hopes"), Hayley Kiyoko ("Curious"), Bazzi ("Beautiful") und Bryce Vine ("Drew Barrymore"), außerdem leisteten Rita Ora und Bebe Rexha Liam Payne auf der Bühne Gesellschaft. Zu den weiteren Live-Performern des Abends gehörten Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Shawn Mendes, Nicki Minaj, Maluma, Travid Scott & James Blake, DJ Khaled, Post Malone & Aerosmith feat. 21 Savage, Jessie Reyez sowie die Backstreet Boys.
