Billboard Music Awards 2019: Gewinner, Live-Performances, Reaktionen

Gestern Abend wurden in Las Vegas die Billboard Music Awards 2019 verliehen. Die Liste prominenter Gäste und Performer in der MGM Grand Garden Arena war lang und illuster – und die der Gewinner hochkarätig. Dafür sorgten auch eine Reihe von Warner-Künstlern: Cardi B war gleich 6x siegreich ("Top Rap Song" für "I Like It", "Top Rap Female Artist", außerdem "Top Hot 100 Song", "Top Selling Song", "Top Radio Song" und "Top Collaboration" für ihre Kollaboration mit Maroon 5 für “Girls Like You”), Panic! At The Disco 2x ("Top Rock Album" für "Pray For The Wicked” und "Top Rock Song" für "High Hopes”), je 1 Billboard Music Award gab es für Ed Sheeran ("Top Touring Artist"), Bebe Rexha ("Top Country Song" für ihre Kollaboration "Meant To Be" mit Florida Georgia Line), Dan + Shay ("Top Country Duo/Group") und "The Greatest Showman" ("Top Soundtrack").

Auch das Live-Programm wurde von Warner-Künstlern mitgestaltet: Panic! At The Disco brachten "Hey Look Ma, I Made It" – außerdem performte Frontmann Brendon Urie noch mit Taylor Swift die neue Kollaboration "ME!", Dan + Shay performten "Speechless" und Kelly Clarkson ihren neuen Song "Broken & Beautiful" vom Soundtrack "UglyDolls", außerdem eröffnete sie mit einem Medley die Gala, die sie zudem moderierte.
