Am 04.10. kommt die neue EP "It’s Your Bed Babe, It’s Your Funeral", hier ist der erste Song

"It’s Your Bed Babe, It’s Your Funeral" – allein für den Titel ihrer kommenden EP muss man Maisie Peters lieben. Angekündigt ist sie für den 4. Oktober, schon jetzt gibt es mit "This Is On You" den ersten Vorgeschmack. 

Geschrieben von Maisie zusammen mit Sophie "Frances" Cook, ist "This Is On You" ein Abgesang auf einen undankbaren Ex, reich an Bildern, Pop-Melodien und einem augenblicklich eingängigen Refrain. Im Musikvideo versucht Maisie nach Kräften, eine Person zu meiden, die um ihre Aufmerksamkeit wetteifert, und navigiert sich dabei in einer Club-Toilette durch allerlei fantastische Szenarien. 

Die 19-jährige Britin kommentiert: "Die Message des Songs ist Empowerment, die Würdigung des eigenen Selbstwertes und zu akzeptieren, dass du alles in deiner Macht stehende getan hast, um einer Person zu helfen, die dir etwas bedeutet hat – doch am Ende ist ihr Lebensglück nicht deine Aufgabe.“
