8 Nominierungen! Lizzo führt die Liste für die Grammy Awards 2020 an

We’re cryin’ cuz we love you, Lizzo! Wieso? Weil soeben die Grammy-Nominierungen bekannt gegeben wurden – und Lizzo mit sagenhaften 8 Nominierungen das gesamte Feld anführt, darunter mit Nominierungen in sämtlichen "Big Four"-Kategorien ("Album of the Year" für "Cuz I Love You", "Record of the Year" und "Song of the Year" für "Truth Hurts" sowie "Best New Artist"). Was sollen wir sagen? Sie ist eben "100% that bitch"! 

Neben Lizzo wurden viele weitere Warner-Künstler von der Recording Academy mit Nominierungen berücksichtigt, darunter je viermal Yola  ("Best New Artist", "Best Americana Album" für "Walk Through Fire" und "Best American Roots Performance" und "Best American Roots Song" für "Faraway Look") und Gary Clark Jr. ("Best Contemporary Blues Album" für das Album "This Land", "Best Rock Song", "Best Rock Performance" und "Best Music Video" für den Song "This Land"), je zweimal Rival Sons ("Best Rock Album" für "Feral Roots" und "Best Rock Performance" für "Too Bad"), YBN Cordae ("Best Rap Album" für "The Lost Boy" und "Best Rap Song" für "Bad Idea"), Dan + Shay ("Best Country Duo/Group Performance" und "Best Country Song" für "Speechless"), Anderson .Paak (Best R&B Album" für "Ventura" und "Best R&B Performance" für "Come Home"), Dan Auerbach ("Producer of the Year, Non-Classical" und "Best American Roots Song" für Yolas "Faraway Look"), RÜFÜS DU SOL ("Best Dance/Electronic Album" für "Solace" und "Best Dance Recording" für "Underwater"), Ashley McBryde ("Best Country Song" und "Best Country Solo Performance" für "Girl Goin' Nowhere") und posthum Nipsey Hussle ("Best Rap Performance" und "Best Rap Song" für "Racks In The Middle"). Je eine Nominierung erhielten Ed Sheeran ("Best Pop Vocal Album" für "No. 6 Collaborations Project"), Michael Bublé ("Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album" für "Love (Deluxe Edition)"), Burna Boy ("Best World Music Album" für "African Giant"), Meek Mill ("Best Rap Album" für "Championships"), Young Thug ("Best Rap/Sung Performance" für "The London") , Skrillex & Boys Noize mit Ty Dolla $ign ("Best Dance Recording" für "Midnight Hour"), Roddy Ricch ("Best Rap Performance" für seine Mitwirkung in Nipsey Hussles "Racks In the Middle"), ( Blake Shelton ("Best Country Solo Performance" für "God’s Country"), und Rhiannon Giddens ("Best American Roots Performance" für “I’m On My Way" mit Francesco Turrisi).
