"This is my favorite single so far" – so sagt Ally Brooke über ihren neuen Song "No Good". Die knackige Disco-Funk-Produktion baut auf einem Sample von Kelly Charles' House-Klassiker "You're No Good for Me" auf (1987, später bekannt durch den Song von The Prodigy), über die Ally von einem Mann singt, der eigentlich "no good" für sie ist, von dem sie aber doch nicht ablassen kann, so sehr sie es auch probiert: "I'd kiss you goodbye in the dead of the night if I could / I'd start up the car and ride off in the dark, no, I should (Oh yeah, yeah, yeah) / But I see the fireworks the second you call out my name (My name, name, name, my name ) / You put me through Hell but I can't quit you for heaven's sake".

A Boogie Wit da Hoodie) und jüngst "Higher" (mit Matoma) ohne ein Feature des Weges kommt – und zeigt, dass das ehemalige Fifth-Harmony-Mitglied auch ganz ohne Begleitung glänzend auskommt. In den vergangenen Wochen sorgte die 26-Jährige im US-Fernsehen zudem mit ihrer Mitwirkung bei "Dancing With The Stars" an der Seite ihres Pro-Partners Sasha Farber für Aufsehen, heute läuft das große Finale:
