Diese Woche für Konzerte in Deutschland

Heute ist Rosenmontag, morgen spielt der FC Bayern München in der Champions League gegen den FC Chelsea, sonst noch was diese Woche? Aber hallo – und PVRIS-Fans haben es natürlich längst auf dem Zettel: ab Donnerstag ist die Band für Konzerte im Lande. Köln, Hamburg und Berlin stehen auf dem Reiseplan, sämtliche Shows sind bereits ausverkauft:

27.02. Köln, Volta
28.02. Hamburg, Knust
01.03. Berlin, Lido

Bei den Konzerten stellt das amerikanische Alternative-Pop-Trio u.a. seine 2019 veröffentlichte EP "Hallucinations" vor. Und wer weiß, vielleicht gibt es auch schon neues Material zu hören. Das letzte Studioalbum "All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell" erschien 2017, erreichte u.a. #4 der offiziellen UK-Albumcharts und US-Alternative-Charts und enthielt erfolgreiche Tracks wie "What’s Wrong" und "Heaven".

Im Interview mit Kerrang! sagte Frontfrau Lynn Gunn, was von dem kommenden Werk zu erwarten ist: "I always like to change things up and push our limits when it comes to songwriting and production. (…) You should never expect the same thing twice from PVRIS. There’ll be some similarities to our previous material, sure, but making music with a difference is something I’m focussed on. You may notice familiar tropes with regards to the attitude of the songs and their production, but when it comes to the core of the songs themselves, I’m looking for every new song to exist in its own little world."
