Outdoor-Akustiksession mit der neuen Single "The List" und Sofakonzert heute um 19 Uhr 

Maisie Peters hat eine Outdoor-Session mit "The List" gespielt, ihrem jüngst veröffentlichten Song, den die Singer-Songwriterin als "very important to me" bezeichnete, "maybe the most important out of everything I’ve released so far."

"I have a hobby of picking myself apart / Leaving people I love waiting in the dark / And sometimes when I want to cry, I laugh / It’s kind of funny" – in dem Song singt die 19-Jährige von ihrer Tendenz, sehr hart und kritisch mit sich selbst zu sein – und nimmt sich vor, zukünftig mehr Selbstliebe und Rücksicht walten zu lassen: "There’s a list of things that I should stop … I need to stop my excuses and have a real conversation / Need to look in the mirror, stop findin' things that need changin' / Need to stop gettin' drunk, to avoid this situation / I need to stop, lettin' myself down". 

"It’s about liking yourself, even in moments when you really really don’t like yourself", sagt Maisie zu dem Song weiter. "It’s also about coping mechanisms and my actual inability to look anyone in the eye, and my constant need to make jokes about anything even remotely sincere or sad! Haha!"
