"Tell me all your secrets, tell me what I’m supposed to do" – in ihrem neuen Song "Secrets" richtet sich Faouzia an einen Menschen, der ihr nahesteht und, so scheint es, etwas vor ihr verbirgt. Nicht aus Unredlichkeit, sondern weil die Person meint, einen Kampf allein fechten und Faouzia damit nicht belasten zu wollen. Diese sehnt sich jedoch danach, die Last mitzutragen: "I've been feeling anxious / Feeling like I just can't breathe / Wonder how you're doing /You know you can talk to me", singt die kanadische Musikerin über eine flirrende Power-Pop-Produktion.  

"I was contemplating the emotional strain that comes when someone you care about isn’t able to be honest with you", sagt Faouzia zu ihrem neuen Song. "Whether it’s about how they’re feeling, what they’re going through, or maybe something heavier. This song is about letting them know that they can come to you in times of need, no judgement, only support — and no matter what they tell you, you will always be there for them."
