Neuer Song "Weird Leisure", Livestream-Show am 15.08. und Tour-Nachholtermine für 2021

Knapp zwei Wochen vor der Veröffentlichung von "A Celebration Of Endings" geben uns Biffy Clyro einen weiteren Vorgeschmack auf das neue Werk: "Weird Leisure" nennt sich der brausende Track, in dem Frontmann Simon Neil von einem Freund berichtet, der für eine Weile vom rechten Weg abkam: "You're busted into pieces / You've polished off your cocaine / Your face is fucking numb / I can see the fear in your heart", singt er beschwörend, und mahnt zugleich: "I could be the / Best friend you ever had". 

Wie Simon Neil gegenüber dem NME erklärt, ist "Weird Leisure" ein Song "about one of my oldest friends. He just chose the wrong path and got himself into a really tricky situation where his world closed in. He’d want help and you’d try to help, but then a week later you’re back to square one. Fortunately he’s in a good place now and on his way out of the darkness. I love this guy so much, but – fucking hell – he’s put me through some shit." 

Unten hört ihr den Track, das Album "A Celebration Of Endings" folgt dann am 14. August. Einen Tag später, am 15. August, spielen die Schotten eine spezielle Livestream-Show, die aus Glasgow übertragen wird. Unten im Post sagt die Band mehr dazu. Die Tour zum neuem Album wurde derweil Corona-bedingt um ein Jahr auf Herbst 2021 verschoben. Hier sind die neuen deutschen Dates in der Übersicht:
