Wenn das Herz von Liebeskummer geplagt ist, kann es sich manchmal anfühlen wie ein großes "Black Hole" – weiß auch Griff, deren neuer Song sich mit den Nachwehen eines Beziehungsendes beschäftigt: "There's a big black hole where my heart used to be / And I tried my best to fill it up with things I don't need / It don't work like that, no, it's not easy / To fill this gap that you left in me", singt die Britin mit engelsgleicher und zugleich gepeinigter Stimme über eine satte, warm rumpelnde Produktion.

“I wrote this song as a bittersweet heartbreak track”, kommentiert die 19-Jährige. "I actually love how melodramatic it is, as there’s obviously not 'a big black hole where my heart used to be', but the melodrama of the lyrics – over a really interesting beat – keeps the song fun, and not too serious."
