Charli XCX hat einen neuen Song namens "Baby" veröffentlicht – und sie macht keinen Hehl daraus, worum es geht: "this song is about feeling sexy, having good sex and being HOT ❤️", kommentiert sie im Post unten. "I can see it in your eyes/ You’re nervous, but you know just what you want/ If you’re feeling scared, that’s fine/ I’ve got no problem taking full control/ Baby", singt Charli XCX über die slicke Pop-Produktion. "Baby" ist ihr Lieblingssong des kommenden Albums "CRASH", wie sie sagt:
Im Interview bei Zane Lowe berichtete Charli XCX gestern, dass "Baby" das Fundament für den Vibe des gesamten Albums legte: "This song, it was kind of the foundation of the vibe of the album”, so die Britin in der Sendung auf Apple Music 1. "It’s probably the most sexy song I’ve ever made. It’s about sex and sexuality and having good sex and just feeling yourself essentially. I know that that’s the tone. I knew that that was the tone I wanted to carry across for the entire record. This kind of hyper-sexualized, feminine power zone was where I was feeling myself going, and ‘Baby’ was the genesis of this."
Unten gibt es das offizielle Musikvideo zu "Baby" zu sehen, in dem Charli XCX zusammen mit zwei Background-Tänzerinnen in einem Studio-Apartment lustvolle Choreografien aufs Parkett legt. Das Album "CRASH" folgt am 18. März, bereits diesen Freitag ist Charli XCX in der Late Night Show von Jimmy Fallon zu Gast. Und in wenigen Wochen kommt sie live nach Deutschland:
