Usher, Nas & Aloe Blacc in zwei neuen Songs vom kommenden "The Hamilton Mixtape"
Vier Songs haben wir vom kommenden "The Hamilton Mixtape" bereits gehört, nun sind zwei weitere Tracks veröffentlicht worden – und es geht hochkarätig weiter: "Usher" beteuert, dass er "Wait For It", Nas "Wrote My Way Out" und wird dabei von Aloe Blacc, Dave East und "Hamilton"-Erschaffer Lin-Manuel Miranda begleitet. Beide Songs hört ihr unten und könnt sie jetzt als beim Vorbestellen des Mixtapes als Download holen, zusammen mit den zuvor veröffentlichten Tracks "My Shot (Rise Up Remix)", "It’s Quiet Uptown", Satisfied" und "Immigrants" (siehe Tracklisting unten).
"The Hamilton Mixtape" ist eine Begleitveröffentlichung zum erfolgreichen Broadway-Musical "Hamilton", das Anfang 2015 Premiere feierte und seitdem mit Preisen überhäuft wurde, u.a. 11 Tony Awards (die Oscars des Broadway-Theaters), der Pulitzer-Preis für Theater und einen OSCAR als "Best Musical Theatre Album" für das Cast-Recording. Auf dem Mixtape liefern bekannte Musiker Cover und neue Remixe von "Hamilton"-Songs, darunter neben den oben Genannten Sia, Kelly Clarkson, The Roots, Alicia Keys, Wiz Khalifa, Chance The Rapper, John Legend, Regina Spektor, Ashanti, Ja Rule, Miguel, Queen Latifah, Common, Ben Folds, Andra Day, K’naan, Jill Scott, Jimmy Fallon und weitere. Außerdem hält "The Hamilton Mixtape" drei bisher unveröffentlichte "Hamilton"-Demos bereit. Exekutiv-produziert wurde das Mixtape von Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson und Tarik "Black Thought" Trotter (beide The Roots).
