Der Record Store Day feiert runden Geburtstag: Zum 10. Mal laden über 3.000 unabhängige Plattenläden auf aller Welt zum Stöbern, Hören und Kaufen ein, wie immer im dritten Samstag im April, heuer also am 22.04. An die 500 exklusive Releases sind exklusiv zum RSD erhältlich, die ihr hier in der Übersicht findet. Eine Liste der Veröffentlichungen von Warner Music in Deutschland findet ihr unten.
Außerdem kann man sich beim Record Store Day auf rund 100 Instore-Gigs, Partys und abendliche Club-Events überall in Deutschland freuen, Details werden in Kürze auf der Website des RSD Germany bekannt gegeben. Eine Woche vor dem RSD findet im Hamburger Club Knust eine offizielle Warm Up Night statt (s.u.), bei der Tiger Lou und Sauropod live auftreten.
Offizielle Botschafterin des Record Store Days 2017 ist St. Vincent, wie ihr unten sehen könnt. Außerdem findet ihr dort einen Trailer zum RSD 2017, in dem u.a. Metallica, Olli Dittrich, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, Dave Grohl und Jack White zu Wort kommen.
