Das Grammy-nominierte Producer-Team hat sein neues Album angekündigt: "The Aviary" heißt es, erscheint am 15. September und kann ab jetzt vorbestellt werden. Fünf Songs erhaltet ihr dann als sofortigen Download, darunter die aktuelle Single "Hunter" und den neuen Clubtrack "True Feeling", zu dem ihr unten das Musikvideo seht. Darin reisen wir mit Christian Karlsson und Linus Eklöw um den Globus, außerdem erzählen Fans aus dem Off, was ihnen die Musik von Galantis bedeutet. Um es mit dem Refrain des Songs zu sagen: "It's a true feeling".

Die Ankündigung von "The Aviary" wurde mit weltweiten Enthüllungsaktionen des Album-Artworks angeteasert, die in Zusammenarbeit mit dem international gefeierten Street-Art-Instagram @StreetArtGlobe auf die Beine gestellt wurden. Beauftragt von StreetArtGlobes umspannenden Netzwerk, enthüllten in Echtzeit 12 Künstler in 8 unterschiedlichen Ländern ihre Interpretationen des Artworks – und „taggten“ so Stadtbilder rund um die Welt, darunter in Frankfurt, London, Paris, Melbourne und Los Angeles (HIER ANSEHEN). Unter den teilnehmenden Künstlern sind Danielle Weber & Jason Manakau (Melbourne, AUS), Marko (Paris, FRA), Case Maclaim (Frankfurt, DE), Mat Maitland, siren1 & Mr. Doodle (London, ENG), Deb (Los Angeles, USA), Dopie (Arnhem, NL), Charles Williams & Janine Williams (Auckland, NZ) und Julia Koceva (Lund, SWE) – jeder von ihnen erweckte seine eigene, einzigartige Vision von Galantis’ ikonografischem Seafox für "The Aviary" zum Leben.
