Kyle veröffentlicht neuen Track + Video "Bouncin", spricht über sein kommendes Abum

„I tryna see you put them lights up“, wünscht sich KYLE in seinem Song „Bouncin“. Das machen wir doch glatt, denn der neue Track des Kaliforniers ist voller Atmosphäre und damit perfekt für Feuerzeug-Momente. Über einen Beat von Producer Hit-Boy blickt Kyle zurück auf seine bisherige Reise und die bisherigen Highlights. Und das auch im Musikvideo, in dem der Musiker aus Ventura wichtige Stationen seines Lebens wie seine ehemalige Highschool, das Ventura Theatre oder auch den Strand besucht – das sonnige Gemüt von Kyle kommt schließlich nicht von ungefähr.

Im Verlauf des Clips sind zudem mehrmals die Zeilen „See You When I’m Famous“ eingeblendet – mutmaßlich ein Easter Egg mit Blick auf den Titel seines kommenden, zweiten Albums. Dieses wird thematisch „a journey to my past, to reconnect with the people and the place that made me“, wie KYLE unten im Post kommentiert.“I’ve realized I’m having trouble moving forward in life because I haven’t reconciled with my past. So that’s what this entire album is dedicated to, giving the 17 year old me a hug and telling him not to worry you’re gonna make it, the home you lost will be built again, the relationships you lost will be built again. It will be hard but you’ll have to face it.. it will make sense when your famous“.

Like I told y’all when I began this journey a year ago, it’s going to be a journey to my past, to reconnect with the people and the place that made me. I’m here to tell you nothing has been more fulfilling than watching these scenes play out and realizing just how far we’ve come (me and my fans) along with my team. I have to thank @jakobowens for not only delivering an incredible video for me but for also being there for me since I was 17 helping me make my life what it is today. Seeing the images of me and @mrman2thatop and how far we’ve come is so moving (he’s on the album btw) I’ve realized I’m having trouble moving forward in life because I haven’t reconciled with my past.
